Company
Who is building this
Volares builds for lawyers in the United States. This page says who is behind it and how the company works, because a tool that reads your clients' contracts should not be anonymous.
Yakir Ben Hillel
Founder. Computer science, an Israeli technological unit, then enterprise software.
The product stops where it does on purpose: it produces draft work product for a lawyer to read, change and adopt, it is sold only to lawyers and legal teams, and it gives no legal advice to anyone.
Based in Tel Aviv. The product's defaults are American, its playbooks are governed by New York or Delaware law, and the first customers are in the United States.
How the company works
Nothing on this site is unbacked
Every sentence on these pages that says what the product does is tied to the code that makes it true, and a check runs on every change that refuses the page if that stops being so.
No number is asserted unless it was measured
Where a figure cannot be traced to code, to a test or to a recorded run, it does not appear. That is why this site carries very few numbers, and why the ones about the product's own workings are the ones it carries.
Pilots run on your paper, in your account
Three weeks, free, on contracts that actually reach you, inside your own organization. We set it up on the first day and leave you to run the second week unaided. If it is not right, nothing is owed and nothing was sent to us.
What we are
A narrow thing built properly: the contracts that reach a legal team, read against that team's own playbook, returned into Word as tracked changes, with every point carried back to the page it came from.
If that is the part of your week you would hand over first, the fastest answer is to watch it run on paper you recognize.
